Organisations / Companies

CCC offers counselling to individuals but also provides contracts for businesses both within the public and private sector. We can provide an EAP service for companies and will tailor our contract to the different needs of each firm.

CCC has had an arrangement with the Cambridgeshire County Council for nearly 10 years, to provide counselling for county council staff.

As a charity, our aim is to provide counselling at an affordable fee. CCC work on a sliding scale based on an individual's income.

The damaging effects of stress within the work place can include:
Physical health ranging from headaches and sleep problems to heart problems
Emotional problems ie irritability, anxiety, panic attacks and despair
Behavioural ie increased consumption of alcohol, food or cigarettes

Therefore stress affects work performance and relationships at work and at home

Causes of stress can be due to working environment, pressure of work to be done, relationships with colleagues and managers and degree of control over work and job security.

Counselling can often help with stress and, in turn, benefits the organisation by way of:-
improving work performance
Motivating employees
Enhancing employee relations
Reducing absenteeism
Lowering staff turnover
And is recognised a 'good practice'
